London Hyde Park Hotel. 150 Bayswater Road, London W2 4RT
Telephone: 44 (0)207 2291212; Website: www.ramadahydepark.co.uk
Nearest tube stations Queensway and Bayswater.
Parking: You can street park on Sunday on single yellow lines, but beware residents parking bays and double yellow lines. There is also a large public car park opposite which is quite reasonable.
- The Show
Sunday 7th October Starting at 10.30am
Registration from 9 am. We do charge for entry and stalls to cover the cost of the room and refreshments. (See booking form) Coffee and pastries will be available free to members while you wait for the show to open. If you are bringing lighters to stall out you can drop them in the room on arrival, but you can’t set up your stall before 10.30am and have to wait outside the room. Those people who pay in advance, or pay on the day during the registration period will be allowed in as soon as the show opens. ANYONE WHO HAS NOT PAID OR REGISTERED BEFORE 10.30am WILL HAVE TO WAIT AT THE BACK OF THE QUEUE UNTIL THEY HAVE.
- Dinner on the evening of Saturday 6th October
Members wanting to attend the informal dinner will need to let us know on the booking form and be at the hotel reception ready to go to the restaurant by taxi or mini bus at 7pm. There are likely to be members around the hotel from mid afternoon on Saturday.
- Hotel
If you intend to stay overnight on Saturday you will find a hotel to suit you pocket if you contact one of the following. Unfortunately the Hyde Park Hotel will not offer any significant discount, because the hotel is very busy in October and their lowest rate for a double room is usually around £149. Try www.bookings.com or www.expedia.co.uk. These websites list hotels by price and areas of London, so search under ‘Bayswater’. And you will usually find rooms from about £50.
